Hit Your Day Youth

Helping young people build confidence, resilience, leadership, and healthy habits through movement, mentorship, and structured youth development.

Built for Organizations That Serve Youth

Hit Your Day Youth is designed for YMCAs, schools, recreation departments, community centers, camps, and after-school programs that want to help young people develop healthy spirit, mind, and body.

The program uses movement-based activities, team challenges, positive mentorship, and short character lessons to create an experience that is active, meaningful, and easy for organizations to implement.

Helping Organizations Achieve Their Mission

Every community organization shares a common goal: to help young people become healthier, more confident, and better prepared for life.

Hit Your Day Youth provides a structured framework that combines movement, mentorship, teamwork, and character education into an engaging program young people can connect with.

Non-contact boxing is used only as one of the teaching tools. The real objective is developing stronger, more confident, and more resilient young people.

Confidence

Young people discover they can accomplish difficult things through consistent effort.

Leadership

Students learn responsibility, accountability, teamwork, and how to encourage others.

Healthy Habits

Movement becomes something enjoyable, structured, and connected to personal growth.

Resilience

Every challenge becomes an opportunity to practice perseverance and self-belief.

Belonging

Participants become part of a positive team environment where everyone is supported.

Focus

Structured activities help build discipline, concentration, and emotional control.

Every Session Follows a Simple Formula

  • Welcome and goal-setting
  • Movement and athletic development
  • Skill-building activities
  • Team challenges and games
  • Corner Conversation: a short life lesson connected to the day
  • Reflection and take-home message

Each lesson connects physical activity with a practical life skill students can carry into school, home, sports, and their community.

Why Movement-Based Training Works

Movement creates an environment where young people naturally develop coordination, confidence, communication, discipline, and perseverance.

Hit Your Day Youth incorporates safe, non-contact boxing drills because they are engaging, adaptable, and effective for building focus and confidence without sparring, fighting, or physical contact.

Built for Community Spaces

  • No boxing ring required
  • Runs on a basketball court, gym floor, or multipurpose room
  • Uses simple, portable equipment
  • Includes curriculum, class structure, and instructor guidance
  • Fits YMCA programs, camps, schools, and recreation departments

Pilot Program

We are currently looking for one local YMCA partner to help launch the first Hit Your Day Youth pilot program.

Together, we can:

  • Build and refine the curriculum
  • Measure youth outcomes
  • Gather participant and parent feedback
  • Create an implementation model
  • Develop a framework that can expand to other communities

Meet the Founder

Brian Pedone
Founder, Hit Your Day

For more than 20 years, I have coached athletes, developed boxing-based training programs, and helped people build confidence through movement.

Today, I am combining that coaching experience with formal education in mental health counseling to create a youth development framework focused on the whole person — not just athletic ability.

Credentials and background:

  • USA Boxing Gold Coach
  • NASM Certified Personal Trainer
  • Graduate Student, Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Lehigh University
  • Founder of Hit Your Day
  • Longtime youth coach and program builder
  • Former volunteer at Covenant House in NYC

I believe movement can be one of the most powerful tools for helping young people develop confidence, resilience, discipline, and leadership. Hit Your Day Youth is my effort to give organizations a practical framework that uses movement to positively impact the lives of the youth they serve.

Long-Term Vision

To create a repeatable youth development framework that helps organizations across the country develop healthier, more confident, and more resilient young people through movement, mentorship, and evidence-based youth development practices.

Let’s Build Something Together

If you are interested in bringing Hit Your Day Youth to your organization, I would love to start a conversation about a pilot program.

Built to help young people move better, think stronger, and carry confidence into everyday life.
